Jury does not speak to anyone about verdict

The jury in Capitol v. Thomas-Rasset has left without speaking to either party in the case or any members of the media. Both Plaintiff and Defense counsel made brief statements to the media outside the courtroom but seem to have left the courthouse through a different exit than the front and have not given any other statement.

  1. Clearly they learned a lesson from the first jury: better to stay silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

  2. Were there any Native Americans on the jury? It would be nice if there was at least one of her peers on this jury of her peers.

Oh, I'm not allowed to ask that. I'm sorry.
