I have a client who recieved one of their threatening letters, who just so happens to live in Oregon and if sued the case would likely get sent to one of the more friendly judges there. Of course, I pointed this nice little fact out to them, and have patiently waited for my client to recieve a summons and complaint. That was exactly three months ago today.
Kudos to Mr. Lybeck for making the RIAA think twice before filing another ridiculous lawsuit.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15479871.post-51648521144012602302008-08-13T16:34:00.000-04:002008-08-13T16:34:00.000-04:00Remember, it ain't over yet. In no sense at all have they compensated Defendant Anderson for all the time and worry and stress she had to put in on this case, nor fairly compensated her lawyer for the actual billing rate or the novelty of the case in this new, unexplored area of the law.

{The Common Man Speaking}Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15479871.post-52374733305384359282008-08-13T16:09:00.000-04:002008-08-13T16:09:00.000-04:00They got off light, and they know it.
