Well, that'll get it off District Judge Trager's plate briefly. We all know that whatever Magistrate Judge Levy finds, at least one side is going to petition the District Judge for reconsideration, if not for review de novo. It would likely be in the interest of judicial efficiency for Trager simply to rule, rather than watch the case come back to him.
