News reports that Sen. Feinstein trying to inject pro-RIAA/MPAA provision into stimulus bill

We have seen news reports that Sen. Dianne Feinsein is trying to use the occasion of the economic stimulus bill to inject a law that would involve ISP's in monitoring copyright infringement. See, e.g., this report by Public Knowledge.

    Maybe DC isn't totally clueless.
