Practice tip: Some qood questions to ask about MediaSentry's "investigation"

For those of you planning to take depositions or serve interrogatories in the near future, the Oregon Attorney General's succinct "draft interrogatories" in Arista v. Does 1-17, quite pithy and to the point, are recommended reading.

  1. I particularly like the request for dates, injured parties, and other specifics. When faced with an overly general complaint, this can help to narrow the issues or reveal that plaintiff has no actual information.

    It sometimes also helps to ask how the person answering the interrogatories knows the answers.
