Came across a gem of an interview with Jon Newton of p2pnet.net, who's been totally on top of the RIAA problem since long before I came on the scene, and who publishes a terrific web site. He is interviewed by Tom Mennecke of Slyck.com, another excellent journalist covering the p2p world.
For me, who came to the 'RIAA vs. The Defenseless' problem only because (a) I'm a lawyer, and (b) I hate bullies.... it's a real learning experience to hear what someone like Jon -- who really is part of the music world and really understands what sharing and digitalization mean to that world -- has to say on the subject.
He's also got something to teach us about life.
