French "3-Strikes" Law (HADOPI) ruled unconstitutional

According to this report in the Register, France's "3-strikes" law (HADOPI), similar to the 'agreements' the RIAA claimed to have reached with ISP's in the United States, has been declared unconstitutional by France's Constitutional Court.

    I'm pretty sure the HADOPI law went one step further than anything asked for in the US, namely that you could lose internet access just on the say so of the content industries.
    In the US, they were not pushing for that.
