For every living, breathing, actual human who gets a MediaSentry letter, I wonder how many false positives they get. Unused IP blocks, bogons, proxies, wrong name on the phone bill, granny has never owned a computer because she died in 1983, etc. That false positive rate is a closely guarded trade secret, I bet.
And it's pretty ridiculous that they've been using it since 2003 in FEDERAL COURT LITIGATION and it's still "closely guarded".
