Virgin v. Thomas to go to Jury tomorrow morning

Ars Technica reports that the judge in Virgin v. Thomas limited the closing statements to half an hour for each side, at which point the jury will be given their instructions and the case will be turned over to the jury for deliberation. This means the jury will start its deliberations some time tomorrow morning.

Ray, what are your thoughts on this case and the probable outcome?

I never predict what a jury will do.

Based on what I have read of this case, the RIAA has failed to prove its case by a preponderance of the evidence.

ray,

I guess it depends on what they were trying to prove...I think they successfully showed that the defendant was a loyal customer who purchased hudreds of cds/dvds and whom they'd gladly lose to prove how stuborn they are.
